The Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band was formed in 1981, then called "Fort Collins Pipe Band", with financial support from the McCreery family of Loveland, Colorado. The band is both a performance and a completion pipe band.

The band performs in a variety of Northern Colorado venues every year including University of Colorado Boulder’s Commencement, Front Range Community College’s Commencement, St. Patrick’s Parades in both Greeley and Fort Collins with performances at local businesses, Pub performances on St. Patrick’s day in Longmont, Kirkin’ of Tartans in Boulder and Longmont, and Jingle Ale at Coopersmith’s in Fort Collins.  In addition to the annual events the band has performed at a number of local events including the Estes Tattoo, St. Andrews Society Gala, Diana Gabaldon’s visit to UNC, Kilts and Celts with the Greeley Chorale, and can be booked for weddings, private parties and events (see Booking the Band).

NCCPB competes at the four WUSPBA sanctioned games in Colorado, as well as often traveling to compete and in nearby states, and occasionally traveling to California and Canada for competitions.  The band has achieved numerous local championships and were the WUSPBA aggregate champions in 2011!

We are currently looking to bring in experienced players of all types! Alternatively, we have lessons every week and love teaching new players.

If either of those describe you, please come to a practice, we'd love to have you.
